Founded in 2021, S U M A focuses on being a platform for emerging and established artists, making art accessible to wider audiences.

Our curatorial strategy is characterized by an ardent enthusiasm for art that tells impactful narratives, from sculptures made of mycelium to wall art inspired by ancient symbols found in Amazonian caves. Our collections are inspired by storytelling and the ability to initiate meaningful dialogue.

We have been honored to work alongside artists such as Claudio Sodi, Gwladys Alonso, Fernanda Caballero, and Christian Abusaid. Our foundation is firmly planted in the rich soils of Latin American heritage, yet our vision stretches far and wide, seeking to nurture partnerships with artists from diverse cultures, backgrounds and disciplines.

The essence of the word S U M A, which translates to 'to add' in Spanish, embodies our core philosophy – to enrich both spaces and lives by showcasing exquisite collections and supporting the talented artists, designers, and artisans behind them.
