Creatures of the Soul - Scope Art Show Miami Beach 2024
Aris Moore & Andres Anza
For the 2024 edition of Scope Art Fair in Miami Beach, we are pleased to present two distinguished artists: Aris Moore and Andres Anza.
Aris Moore, a New Hampshire-based artist, boasts a robust following of over 100,000 on social media and is well-regarded within the artistic community. This exhibition will mark the first presentation of ArisMoore's large-format drawings, offering a unique opportunity for SUMA and exceptional visibility for the artist.
Andres Anza is a critically acclaimed Mexican ceramic sculptor who has held numerous solo exhibitions worldwide. Recently, he was honored with the prestigious Loewe Foundation Prize, further solidifying his reputation in the art world.
S U M A's booth concept aims to invite viewers into a magical world, where art becomes a mirror reflecting their inner child. Our curated collection for this fair, "Creatures of the Soul," utilizes drawings and sculptures to bridge the gaps between us, tapping into the universal threads of humanity that bind us together, such as joy, sadness, laughter, love and wonder. Through engaging with the works of Aris Moore and Andres Anza, visitors are not mere observers; they actively participate in a dialogue with these "creatures" and, in turn, with themselves. This dialogue is facilitated by the portrayals of human character, expressed metaphorically through these creatures. In this space, every visitor becomes an integral part of a larger narrative that celebrates our shared experiences, fostering a sense of unity and empathy that transcends our differences.
Constructive-Construction
GWLADYS ALONSO, FERNANDA CABALLERO & TATIANA CAMACHO
“Constructive-Construction” is a dialogue between three female artists; a juxtaposition of forms, volumes and colors, a dance guided by individual embodiment, its weight and movement.
Each one of the artists, through their own narrative, make us witnesses of these metalinguistic exercises, awakening consciousness and contemplation on what makes us living beings: our inner construction and our outside volume.
Through these pieces, we follow the artists on their constructive-construction of their innermost and outermost selves.

CHRISTIAN ABUSAID
May 27, 2022 - Jul 15, 2022
Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico
Through his pieces, Colombian artist Christian Abusaid invokes the aesthetics latent in the Amerindian collective unconscious, creating archetypes that echo in different times and cultures. In its entirety, the installation unfolds as an offering of geometric and monochromatic rhythms. The colorful tones and vivid textures charge this composition with a mystical and ceremonial character that invites the viewer into a visual journey of pattern recognition.
